My stay at the charming Hotel le Bayeux was a mix of positives and negatives. While the friendly proprietor greeted me warmly, the room, being the last available, was tiny, dark, smelly, and cold. However, given the location and the overall atmosphere, I can't complain too much!
The hotel's location is superb, just 3 minutes from the cathedral and surrounded by excellent restaurants. The rooms, however, were so disappointing that we had to leave early and find another hotel. The service was outstanding in helping with parking and recommendations. The dining experience was delicious, but the cost was a bit high. Overall, it was a mixed experience with some great aspects and some drawbacks.
Staying at Hôtel Le Bayeux was a fantastic experience. The location is ideal, allowing easy access to all the town's attractions, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Upon arrival at the charming Hotel le Bayeux, I was met by the very friendly proprietor. The room, though small, was clean with very good wifi. Being on the ground floor was initially fine since it was the last room available in the hotel.
My stay at the hotel was lovely overall. The rooms were spacious and clean, albeit a bit crowded with the pushed-together single beds. The service was exceptional, with the staff being very helpful, friendly, and even managing to secure a restaurant reservation for us. The location was superb, just a stone's throw away from the cathedral and the river, making it convenient for exploring the city. The dining experience was enjoyable, offering a good variety of choices and delicious croissants. The facilities were adequate and added to the pleasant stay.
